“Every project has its own personality because each company or client has its own personality. By creating spaces that reflect either a company’s brand or the unique style of a homeowner, I can help companies attract more customers, allow their employees to have a more pleasant work environment, or help residential clients feel like they are HOME.”

CATHLEEN STEWART
Interior Designer, Principal,
Allied Member ASID
Cathleen started her business in 1992 and has provided a full range of interior design services for hundreds of clients. Throughout her 30 + years in business, Cathleen has even operated a design studio and retail store which offered classes on all subjects related to design – from Feng Shui to decorative painting. She also provided real estate staging services for high-end properties in the northwest suburbs of Boston for over 15 years. Her unique ability to understand her clients’ tastes quickly, working with a variety of professionals, and managing budgets make her one of New England’s most versatile and multi-talented design professionals.
In the commercial realm, she is known for designing interiors that enable banks, law firms, and small businesses to communicate their brand identity with their interior “look.” The Boston Globe named one of her clients, Enterprise Bank, one of the TOP PLACES TO WORK for several years, citing the “employee-friendly designs” that Cathleen created. Another client, a country club in Southern New Hampshire, increased its appeal to new members and special event bookings dramatically after a custom renovation of their main lobby.
For her residential clients, she can quickly channel their styles using a proprietary Visual Thumbprint exercise that guides design decisions based on their personal responses to color, shape, texture, pattern, and point of view.
Cathleen, who has traveled worldwide, had a career in corporate sales before launching her interior design career. She speaks and presents classes on design topics locally and has participated in a major art acquisition project for a local community health center to enhance well-being and healing for its patients.
